01 Problem

During the COVID-19 pandemic, instances of domestic violence against women increased drastically. Despite the existence of Tunisia's law 58-2017, which aims to protect women against violence, many people were not aware of this law or its benefits. A national campaign was needed to raise awareness about this important legislation and encourage the community, particularly women, to take action against violence.

02 Approach

Mahdi Lamloum, Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy, approached CFC Carthage Women's Club Volleyball Team, one of the most decorated women's sports teams in modern Tunisia, to collaborate on launching a national campaign to raise awareness about law 58-2017. 1337 Digital, now Zouhall, was brought on board to design a responsive website for the campaign that would present the law's benefits in an accessible and easy-to-understand manner.

03 Solution

1337 Digital, now Zouhall, carefully considered the sensitive nature of the topic and developed a responsive website that effectively communicated the benefits of law 58-2017. The website was designed to be accessible and easy to grasp, encouraging the community, particularly women, to take action against violence. The national campaign was launched on the day of the women's volleyball cup final featuring CFC, drawing significant public attention and media coverage. With their clean win, the campaign successfully raised awareness about the law and contributed to the fight against domestic violence against women in Tunisia.
