⁰¹ Problem

The digital transformation of the world has led to the emergence of decentralized technologies, creating new opportunities and making knowledge more accessible. As blockchain technology and Web 3 gain prominence, there is a need for an innovation and incubation program that empowers the youth to develop blockchain-based solutions to social, environmental, and financial challenges. Before the inception of Decentralize Impact, there was a lack of such programs that incorporated community-driven governance, feedback, and engagement mechanisms in their management and voting systems.

1337 Digital Studio, now Zouhall, partnered with Impact Partner, IFC International Finance Corporation, and Dar Blockchain to create Decentralize Impact, a 6-month innovation and incubation program. The program focuses on blockchain technology and Web 3, aiming to foster innovation in the blockchain and entrepreneurship ecosystems through community-driven governance, feedback, and engagement mechanisms. The partners designed the program to encourage young entrepreneurs and changemakers to ideate and prototype solutions for various challenges using blockchain technology.

1337 Digital Studio, now Zouhall, played a significant role in the development and implementation of Decentralize Impact. The team designed and developed a responsive website for the program and managed its social media platforms. They also produced a podcast hosted by Skander Ben Hamda, featuring eight episodes with industry leaders and experts. 1337 Digital Studio, now Zouhall, handled press relations and partnered with LobstersProd for photo and video coverage of the program. As a result, Decentralize Impact successfully empowered young innovators and entrepreneurs to create blockchain-based solutions, fostering a vibrant and collaborative community.
